Family disaster plan : community emergency management program (2010)
Abstract
A family disaster plan tells everyone in the household what they will do during an emergency. Having a plan reduces the stress of coping with the aftermath of a disaster. Using this booklet, families can easily assemble information about family members and pet, belongings and the dwelling, which may not be readily available following a disaster. This booklet is by no means inclusive of every situation, so families may need to include additional details specific to their needs. The plan should be updated annually or whenever there are changes in the family or household.
