Selecting and working with a farm building contractor (1980)
Abstract
Two major tasks are involved in the successful completion of a new farm building--choosing the right building and selecting a good contractor to build it. Most building constructed today are 'pre-engineered' or package-type buildings. The decisions involved in choosing one of these structures are reviewed in detail in UMC Guide 1004, 'Buying a Packaged Farm Building,' available from your nearest University Extension Center. The purpose of this guide is to review some of the items related to selection of and working with a building contractor.
