The fourth Cyberinfrastructure Day 2017 (CI Day) was held on October 4 at Memorial Union on the University of Missouri campus. The theme was "Leveraging Shared Resources for Innovation and Discovery."

CI Day

  • Is for faculty, research scientists, graduate students, post-docs, and research-support staff who use (or are interested in using) advanced computing technologies for research.
  • Offers practical information on resources, services, and emerging technologies, plus expert resources.
  • Offers the opportunity to make your CI needs known and discuss issues of concern regarding the use of advanced computing in research and MU’s cyberinfrastructure.

  • CI Update, Introduction of CI Council Members, and Keynote Introduction -- Dr. Timothy Middelkoop (Director, Research Computing Support Services and Assistant Teaching Professor Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering)
  • Keynote: NSF's Vision, Strategy, and Support of Collaborative Cyberinfrastructure -- Irene M. Qualters (Division Director of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (ACI) at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Arlington, VA)
