    Abstract
The artworks within & The Dynamo combine the visual histories of cartography, landscape painting, infographics and systems based abstraction to evaluate the industrial complexes and infrastructure that make up the contemporary human landscape. It is a landscape truly reflective of ourselves, though no human being is seen within any of the works. It is the landscape of the mechanical Dynamo, operating in silent invisibility, seemingly through its own accord as unseen workers carry out societies thirst for resources and convenience. Abstract in large scale, mundane in the smallness of the every day, and total in its spread over the face of the Earth.
