"How you prepare copy is important. Messy, hard-to-read copy doesn't stand much chance of being used unless the editor is short of copy. The best advice is to find out how your local editor prefers to receive copy. However, since this cannot always be done, here are a few general suggestions on preparing copy that will satisfy most editors."--First page.
