It can be very frustrating to find yourself unable to remember a person's name, or to spend an excessive amount of time looking for your glasses or car keys. Fortunately, these are not signs of Alzheimer's disease or other kinds of dementia, but are a normal part of everyday life. But these "memory lapses" do tend to increase as we age.
