Metadata[+] Show full item record
Sinus symptoms, often blamed on colds or bacterial infections, can also result from chronic inflammation and swelling of the sinuses due to allergies and pollution. Nasal polyps (small growths in the sinuses) or narrowing of the sinuses from fracture or injury to the nose can also cause sinus symptoms. Sinus problems that last longer than 8 weeks or recur several times a year are called chronic sinusitis.
