Resistant Staph Infections

You may have heard the term MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) referred to in the media or you may know someone with this diagnosis. MRSA is a type of staph bacterial infection that is resistant to many common antibiotics. This type of infection can be dangerous if it enters the bloodstream and infects other parts of the body.
