Do people at high risk of Alzheimer's disease benefit from early treatment?

Currently, there is no cure for this disease. Medication can temporarily improve the quality of life and may delay placing some people in nursing homes. Studies show that medication does not work on everyone, is best used in the early stages, and lessens symptoms only to a small degree.
