Abstract: The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends against screening for testicular cancer (USPSTF “D” rating), noting there is at least moderate certainty that the service has no net benefit. The American Cancer Society recommends a testicular examination as a part of a periodic health exam, but does not recommend regular testicular self-exams for men unless they have specific testicular cancer risk factors.
