dc.description.abstract"Cash rent reported in this guide is the result of a statewide survey conducted in August 1989. Farm operators and landowners provided data in response to the following statement: 'Base your answers on the actual rent you paid or received during the calendar year 1989.' Compared to 1988, survey results showed that average cash rent for grain crop land increased 5 to 8%. Pasture and hay land increased 1 to 5%. The most common (frequent) rental rates also increased on most crops except for pasture."--First page.eng
