Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors provide modest benefit in cognitive, behavioral, and functional measures for people with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD). (SOR A, based on systematic review.) Benefits of treatment were noticed in activities of daily living (ADLs) and behavior; however, none of these treatment effects is large.
