Metadata[+] Show full item record
Current or lifetime depression in patients with asthma was linked to poorer health-related quality of life, more frequent visits to healthcare providers, and increased medication use. Patients with asthma have a higher risk of depression if they are a current or former smoker, feel less perceived control of their asthma, or experience greater asthma-related disability.
