Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics (UMKC)
Our mission is to build excellent programs in translational research (improving health outcomes from bench to bedside) that are supported by the core disciplines of biomedical informatics.
Students will master core competencies that will allow them to participate in biological research, clinical and population health research, and research to develop innovative information systems. Our goal is to produce the next generation of health researchers by emphasizing patient-oriented research in the context of state-of-the-art medical informatics.
