Abstract
The collection consists of material from a variety of sources by and about V.T. Hamlin and his career. Also included are works by and about Hamlin's Alley Oop successors, Dave Graue, Jack and Carol Bender. [Hamlin material presented to the University of Missouri Libraries by the Hamlin family (Theodora Dewalt) in 1991 are in V.T. Hamlin Collection I]. The material in the collection spans the period from 1900-2016, bulk 1932-2000. Included are copies of three unpublished Hamlin manuscripts acquired after the1991 gift to the Libraries, transcripts of Hamlin interviews, articles about Hamlin and Alley Oop,and reproductions of Hamlin's work (newspaper clippings, photocopies and photocopies from microfilm).
