The addition of clopidogrel to aspirin therapy is not superior to aspirin therapy alone for primary prevention. In addition, medical therapy with a combination of clopidogrel and aspirin increases the risk of moderate to severe bleeding compared with aspirin alone. (SOR: B, based on an RCT.)
