Department of Chemical Engineering (MU)

The Department of Chemical Engineering is one of 9 academic departments within the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Established in 1906, the department has a long standing commitment to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education. Our department serves the discipline well by providing state of the art research facilities in many cutting edge fields including plasma processing, polymers, reaction engineering, environmental issues, biochemical engineering, and many others. The Department of Chemical Engineering has been continuously accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) since 1940.
