The Nuclear Engineering Program at University of Missouri was officially established in 1964 and conferred its first Master of Science degree in that same year. Our mission is to discover, disseminate, preserve and apply knowledge in the area of nuclear sciences and engineering. We interpret our mission here broadly to encompass science and engineering related to neutrons, molecules, photons and other particles.
