"With the University Libraries poised to become a premier 21st century hub of innovation, all students believe in the infinite potential of what we can become. However, the University Libraries have not always been considered a priority in funding or support, resulting in reduced resources, services, and staff. Creation of innovative spaces, accessible to all the students who make up our diverse population, will ensure we all feel at home at our institution. Showcasing our unique special collections and resources reinforces the richness of our collective histories. These extraordinary reserves are part of what makes our institution exceptional, and will propel us towards exponential growth. We believe that given the current campus climate and passion for the future, it is time for the University Libraries to be considered an utmost priority."--Page 3.
