Abstract
"Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) are a common healthcare acquired infection at University Hospital. There were a total of 11 infections in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) from April 2016 through March 2017. Though these type of infections have been steadily decreasing over the last 4 years, we would like to further reduce the incidence of these infections in the SICU."--Background.
