Resources for research on the University of Missouri--Columbia
"The University of Missouri-Columbia's illustrious history has been preserved in books, newsletters, manuscripts, reports, photographs, and newspapers; and collected by the University Libraries, the University Archives, the State Historical Society of Missouri, and Western Historical Manuscript Collection. The Sesquicentennial of the University provided the impetus to assess the historical resources available, to compare holdings among the repositories, and to prepare a guide describing some of these resources. The titles and collections selected for inclusion in RESOURCES FOR RESEARCH ON THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-COLUMBIA is intended to provide researchers with a starting point, to illustrate the array of materials available, and to guide users to the respoitories where additional material may be found."--Page [iii].
